Fifteen years after the first APEC Ministerial Meeting on Forestry was held in Beijing, the region has exceeded the Sydney Forestry Goal by adding 27.9 million hectares of new forest. As ministers convene once again in China from July 27 to July 28, the meeting aims to advance Asia-Pacific forestry dialogue and deepen regional cooperation for the years ahead.
