On July 25th, at the 48th session of the World Heritage Committee in Busan, South Korea, UNESCO officially inscribed Jingdezhen Handicraft Porcelain Industry Sites on the World Heritage List.
CGTN spoke with Li Jianyun from the participants' lounge at the conference in Busan. She's a specialist for cultural heritage conservation, and director of ConserVision. Her team helped prepare Jingdezhen's nomination dossier for this year's inscription. Here's what she had to say about what this successful inscription means.
