China's first custom-built satellite for protecting ancient treasures, Wenwu-01, has sent back its first batch of images. With sub-0.5-meter resolution and dedicated AI models, it monitors changes around protected heritage sites, tracking shifts in boundaries, surrounding environments and unauthorized construction.
