Workers completed hoisting the world's largest cable saddle for the Lion Ocean Channel on July 28. The installation of all cable saddles has been completed, clearing the way for the bridge's main cable installation. Once completed, the double-deck suspension bridge will set five world records. The project will link Guangzhou and Dongguan, boosting transportation across the Greater Bay Area. The entire channel is scheduled to open to traffic in 2029, further supporting regional integrated development.
