Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks in Beijing on Tuesday with Slovak President Peter Pellegrini, who is on a state visit to China. Xi said the two countries have continued to strengthen political mutual trust and achieved fruitful results in cooperation since elevating bilateral relations to a strategic partnership in 2024. He also noted that Pellegrini's state visit is the first by a Slovak president to China in 23 years.
