Two earthquakes struck Xinghai County in northwest China's Qinghai Province on Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

A magnitude-5.7 earthquake struck at 11:16 a.m. followed by another quake of magnitude 5.8 at 11:34 a.m., CENC said.
