Keiko Fujimori took office as the president of Peru after a swearing-in ceremony at the Legislative Palace in Lima on Tuesday.
Fujimori, the first woman to be elected president of Peru by popular vote, took the oath of office for the 2026-2031 term, pledging to faithfully perform her duties and uphold the constitution and the country's laws.
