An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 shook southwestern Japan on Tuesday, leaving several people dead and dozens of others injured or missing after part of a shopping center and a huge chimney at a paper factory collapsed, officials said. Rescue operations are underway as police and firefighters are checking whether the missing employees are trapped inside the damaged building, the report adds.
