China urged Japan to accelerate the destruction of abandoned chemical weapons (ACWs) and return a clean homeland to the Chinese people, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Thursday.
The statement came on the 27th anniversary of the two countries signing the MoU on the destruction of chemical weapons abandoned by Japan in China.
