The Chinese animated film All Wishes Come True is bringing more visitors to one of China's most unusual landmarks.

One scene in the film, where the immortals Zhongli Quan and Lyu Dongbin first meet, was inspired by the Hanging Temple (Xuankong Temple) in Datong, north China's Shanxi Province. Since the film became a hit, the temple has attracted growing numbers of visitors.

Built about 1,500 years ago, the Hanging Temple is famous for its wooden halls built into a steep cliff. It is also known for bringing together elements of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism in a single temple, making it a unique part of China's cultural heritage.
