Russian strikes on Ukraine's capital killed at least nine people and wounded 28 others, including four children, local authorities said on Saturday after Kyiv's mayor warned of a ballistic missile attack.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said nine people were killed in the attack and 28 others were injured, including four children.
Russia's Defense Ministry said in a statement that its forces had carried out a "massive strike" on military-industrial facilities and logistics centers in Kyiv and the surrounding Kyiv region.
