This summer, "China Travel" has gone viral again on social media, driven by visa-free policies and trending buzzwords like "becoming Chinese." So if you are planning a summer trip to China but unsure of which destinations to visit, Pakistani vlogger Younus Ghazali has some recommendations for you. Having lived in China for nine years, he believes each Chinese city he has visited has its own unique vibe. Two years ago, he chose to settle down in south China's Guangzhou.

In this video, he takes us on a tour of the Canton Tower, an iconic landmark in Guangzhou, shows off the dazzling neon nightscape along the Pearl River and recommends a futuristic way to get around: autonomous robotaxis. He advises visitors to try the authentic Cantonese herbal tea – a national intangible cultural heritage – and cool down like locals.

Ghazali regards Guangzhou as a city where modernity seamlessly blends with tradition. It boasts an abundance of delicious food, convenient transit, endless business opportunities and a unique cultural charm. "I hope when you have the opportunity to visit this beautiful city, you also enjoy as much as I do," he said.
