Witness video appears to show an armed bystander confronting the shooter with a pistol during the In-N-Out Burger shooting in Twin Falls, Idaho. Police say the civilian and an off-duty state trooper engaged the gunman, likely preventing additional casualties. Three people, including a restaurant employee, were killed and seven others were wounded, some critically. Police later found the 24-year-old suspect dead near the restaurant from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and said he appeared to have acted alone. The motive remains under investigation. The restaurant had opened just over a week before the attack.
