US President Donald Trump said Sunday that negotiations with Iran will begin Monday afternoon, after Washington called off planned strikes against Iran.
Trump said Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar had urged the United States to pull back, believing a deal was possible. He said talks could first focus on the Strait of Hormuz, followed by what he called the "denuclearization" of Iran.
