Wildfires on the outskirts of Spokane, the second-largest city in the US state of Washington, entered their third day on August 3 local time.
The uncontained fire complex, comprising three separate wildfires, has burned over 32 square kilometers, damaged or destroyed at least 700 structures, and displaced approximately 65,000 residents – accounting for more than a quarter of Spokane's total population.
