An 11-year-old from Taizhou in east China's Zhejiang Province claimed gold at the third Asian Jump Rope Championship on July 31.
The championship brought together more than 1,000 athletes from across Asia to compete in one of the region's top jump rope events.
Competing in the boys' 9–11 age group three-minute single-under event, Feng Ziyuan completed an incredible 1,106 jumps in just three minutes to win the title. After five years of training, he says sticking to his own rhythm helped him exceed his goal.
