For Maninoud Phonsena, a climate technician from Laos' Department of Agrometeorology and Remote Sensing, China's meteorological technology means better forecasts for farmers and a clearer picture of climate risks. 

Through satellite data and weather simulations, China is helping Laos respond to climate challenges and improve farming. 

The partnership is one of many highlighted as China marks the 5th anniversary of the Global Development Initiative.
