China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) announced on Wednesday a decision to take countermeasures against US-based Compliance Testing LLC, with effect from August 5, 2026.
According to the decision, recently, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) intensively rolled out a string of negative China-related measures that have seriously infringed upon the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
MOFCOM said Compliance Testing LLC assisted and supported the FCC in taking such measures, harming China's sovereignty, security and development interests.
In accordance with the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China and relevant provisions, China has decided to place Compliance Testing LLC on its countermeasures list and adopt the following measure:
Organizations and individuals within the territory of China are prohibited from engaging in relevant transactions, cooperation and other activities with the company.
