Thousands of Palestinians gathered on Tuesday to hold a mass funeral for 112 members of the Abu Sharia and al-Hasayna families, nearly three years after they were killed in a November 2023 Israeli attack in the Sabra neighborhood.

According to Palestinian officials, the attack killed 308 members of the two families, including at least 40 children, 30 women and seven people with disabilities. More than 8,000 Palestinians are still believed to remain beneath the rubble across Gaza.
