From August 2 to 4, Yuexi in southwest China's Sichuan Province came alive with torch-lit celebrations as the Yi ethnic group marked the annual Torch Festival. The festivities featured torch-lit carnival nights, traditional folk performances, cultural competitions, and singing and dancing contests, showcasing the rich heritage and vibrant traditions of the Yi people.
