Nearly 40 US university students got a taste of China's high-tech travel in Hainan, and their reaction was "cool."
Hopping on the Sanya-Ledong Tourism Railway, they snapped AI-powered selfies, sipped freshly brewed coffee, and soaked in the ocean-themed decor. QR-code boarding, digital info screens and real-time updates on speed, temperature and stops made them feel safe, one student said.
They are on a China-US Youth Innovation Exchange Camp co-hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Hainan Province and the Hainan Youth Federation.
