A magnitude-5.8 earthquake struck the Philippines' Occidental Mindoro province on Friday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The quake struck at 10:38 a.m. local time at a depth of 10 kilometers. No immediate reports of casualties or damage were available.
The quake was felt in the Philippine capital, Manila, Reuters witnesses said.
