A magnitude-4.9 earthquake hit Gaoxian County of Yibin City in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Friday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The quake happened around 1:08 p.m. BJT at a depth of 6 kilometers.
No casualties have been reported so far.
