With the 33rd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting drawing near, an increasing number of overseas travelers are arriving inbound through Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport in Guangdong Province, south China.
Data from the Shenzhen border inspection station shows that in the first seven months of 2026, APEC traveler arrivals via the airport reached 850,000 passenger trips, setting a new record for the period.
To handle the surge efficiently, the station has upgraded the online arrival card system with multilingual prompts and introduced extra smart translation devices to assist incoming travelers.
