Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, has welcomed over 5 million foreign travelers through its ports this year, reaching the milestone earlier than last year. Driven by visa-free policies and the city's reputation as a sci-tech hub, more than 3.5 million visitors from APEC economies have entered through its ports. Ahead of the APEC summit in November, Shenzhen is upgrading port services with multilingual support and smart technology.
