Israel's Health Ministry said on Tuesday that it had received an initial report of a suspected Ebola case involving a person who recently returned from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
"The person, who returned to Israel several days ago, sought medical treatment after developing a fever," the ministry said, emphasizing that "at this stage, this is only a suspicion. The necessary tests are currently being conducted and results are expected within the next 24 hours."
