Zelenskyy: During the period from January to August of this year, our soldiers of the DSHV and other units involved conducted an effective offensive operation in the Alexander direction. Thanks to active actions, our troops managed to significantly hit the occupying contingent. Russian losses amounted to at least 9550 killed and more than 6,600 wounded. There was also a replenishment of the exchange fund for Ukraine. During the operation, an area of 745 square kilometers was liberated. Twenty-six villages of Dnipro, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya oblasts returned to Ukrainian control. This offensive operation of ours has been executed clearly — just as it was determined.
