The Ergun River forms part of the border between China and Russia. From the Chinese bank in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, visitors can look across the river to Russia, while a border river cruise from Shiwei offers a different perspective, allowing them to take in the scenery on both sides from the water.

Departing from a tourist dock, the cruise travels upstream to the China-Russia Friendship Bridge, the first permanent bridge on a China-Russia border river, before turning back. Along the route, passengers can enjoy views of Shiwei on the Chinese side and Olochi on the Russian side of the river.
