Amphibious excavators and loaders join battle to fix Henan river breach

Heavy rain from Typhoon Dolphin and backwater pressure from the Shaying River triggered a severe emergency flood control response in central China's Henan Province when the Jialu River in Zhoukou City burst its eastern bank late on August 13.

By 10 a.m. on Friday, 200 rescuers from China Aneng Group and 110 units of heavy machinery, including powered pontoon bridges, amphibious excavators and loaders, were on site, working to close the gap.
