A major milestone has been achieved on the Shiziyang Link, a key mega project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Construction of the east and west anchorages of Shiziyang Bridge has been completed. The structures are the world's largest suspension bridge anchorages, engineered to withstand massive tension from the bridge cables. The bridge will be the world's first double-deck suspension bridge with a main span over 2,000 meters.  Upon opening, it will shorten travel time across the Pearl River and boost regional connectivity within the Greater Bay Area.
