Fields Medalist: China's sci-tech development strategy draws top talents

China is committed to a long-term and stable strategy on building the country into a sci-tech powerhouse by 2035, which has laid a solid foundation for encouraging an increasing number of top international scientists who have attachments to China to come back for further research, said Fields Medalist Martin Hairer.

As a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hairer has long been cooperating with the academic community in China, during which he has witnessed China's scientific and technological development over the years.
