The mammoth fossil on display at the Hulunbuir Historical Museum in Inner Mongolia is one of the museum's most popular exhibits.
Dating to the Late Pleistocene, around 129,000 to 11,700 years ago, the fossilized skeleton measures 5.55 meters in length, 3.75 meters in height and 1.96 meters in width.
Mammoths, now extinct, were among the largest mammals ever to live on land and iconic animals of the Ice Age.
