At a time when China-U.S. headlines are often dominated by trade, technology and rivalry, a group of young Americans is bringing a different kind of conversation to China — through jazz. The National Youth Orchestra Jazz, or NYO Jazz, is touring Shanghai and Beijing this summer. For many, it’s their first time in China — offering a chance to experience the country firsthand, and connect with Chinese audiences through music. CGTN's Dong Xue has the story.
