Two workers were killed after explosions tore through Brent Industries, an industrial recycling facility in the US state of Ohio, shortly before 5 a.m. on Tuesday. Flames and thick smoke engulfed the site as emergency crews searched the heavily damaged building.

Several other employees suffered minor injuries. Officials said air monitoring detected no hazardous threat, and the cause of the explosions remains under investigation.
