A delivery rider in Xining, northwest China's Qinghai Province, spotted a drunk man waving a knife in the middle of the street on August 18. While others kept their distance, the rider crept up from behind, got off the e-bike and sent it forward, knocking the drunk off his feet and sending the knife clattering to the ground. Bystanders rushed in to hold him down. The rider was hailed online for his courage and quick thinking. No serious injuries were reported, and police are investigating.
