US President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House on Tuesday that the United States has "very draconian" sanctions for Iran, when asked about how he would proceed with sanctions.

"We'll see what happens," he added.

Earlier in the day, Trump also indicated that talks with Iran could resume "at some point," but stressed that Tehran must completely abandon its nuclear weapons program.
