China and Indonesia held their first Conference of China-Indonesia Comprehensive Strategic Dialogue Mechanism in Jakarta on Friday.

The meeting will focus on better synergising the two countries' development strategies, exploring practical measures to strengthen the building of China-Indonesia community with a shared future, and bolstering respective modernization, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said earlier this week.
