A rare golden Kaiser-i-Hind butterfly has been seen flying through a forest reserve in east China's Fujian Province. To help the endangered species recover, the reserve has been studying its habitat, breeding the butterflies artificially and releasing healthy adults back into the wild. With wild females extremely rare, conservation breeding has become an important way to help the species rebuild its population.
