This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), with the annual summit set to take place soon in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Russia is a founding member. CGTN Stringer spoke with residents of Sergiyev Posad in the Moscow region about how the SCO has touched their daily lives, and what they hope for from future cooperation in emerging fields. 

Marina Nikolaevna Kuvshinova, a pensioner, said friendly cooperation is more vital than ever, and platforms like the SCO instill greater confidence in the future. "With AI's development, I believe there will be closer cooperation between all SCO member states," she said.
