The China-Kazakhstan Horgos International Border Cooperation Center is seeing a summer rush, with daily visitors exceeding 30,000. To handle the crowds, 32 manual checkpoints and 22 e-channels are fully operational. The center offers visa-free entry to citizens of both countries and up to 8,000 yuan in daily duty-free purchases per visitor. So far this year, entries have topped 5 million, averaging over 33,000 a day and peaking at 36,000, making it a truly bustling border post.
