Carney says Canada to impose retaliatory tariffs on US goods

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said on Saturday that he had suspended trade negotiations with the United States after talks failed to produce a deal, accusing Washington of using economic integration "as a weapon" against its allies.
"Canada will match Washington's new tariffs dollar for dollar in order to protect Canadian workers, farmers, families and businesses," Carney said at a news conference.
