A Chinese team, All Gamers, on Sunday beat double-champions Team Falcons from Saudi Arabia to win the video-gaming Esports World Cup (EWC) held Sunday in Paris.

This edition of the EWC, considered the biggest esports event, with over $70 million awarded across the prize pools, was the first to be held outside Saudi Arabia since it was founded there in 2024.

Late Sunday, Saudi Arabia's crown prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud attended the closing ceremony along with his host, French President Emmanuel Macron.

The EWC gathers more than 2,000 professional players from around the world, with teams duelling digitally across 24 different video games.
