Horgos Port, one of the major ports for China-Europe and Central Asia freight trains in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, had handled over 6,000 China-Europe and Central Asia freight trains as of August 19 this year, with the cargo throughput reaching 10 million tonnes. The milestone train departed for Poland on the same day.

Handling more than 27 trains daily, the port now reloads one returning train every two hours through streamlined scheduling. Smart customs-railway systems enabling "instant inspection and release" have significantly improved clearance efficiency.

To date, Horgos has handled nearly 59,000 trains across 91 routes, serving 18 countries and regions and connecting 46 cities.
