The second World Humanoid Robot Games opened in Beijing on August 22, with humanoid robots taking on more demanding movements than ever before.

This year's 400-meter obstacle race features 16 challenges, including crawling tunnels, plum blossom posts and tire obstacles appearing for the first time. The upgraded course tests robots' mobility, balance and coordination as they perform increasingly complex moves.
