European Commission: Serbia has activated our Civil Protection Mechanism. Within hours of Serbia's request, we mobilised rescEU helicopters from Czechia, Romania and Slovakia, as well as ground firefighting teams from Germany and Romania.We remain alert and ready to support Serbia in combating these devastating fires.
