Tornado tears through French village injuring 41

A tornado tore through Pomas, south of Carcassonne, at around 5:20 p.m. on August 24. Local authorities confirmed 41 injured people, 15 of whom were taken to hospital.
At least 300 homes were damaged, with roofs torn off and walls blown out. More than 120 firefighters were deployed.
