Canada will impose counter-tariffs of 15%, 25% and 50% on C$27.6 billion worth of US imports from September 8, Finance Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne announced on August 25.

The measures will match the latest US tariffs dollar for dollar and rate for rate. Ottawa also announced C$7.5 billion in support of affected workers and businesses.
