Ronald Sakolsky, a retired American teacher, and Yin Yuzhen, a tree planter in the Mu Us Desert, speak different languages. Twenty-seven years ago, Ronald saw Yin's story on TV and raised $5,000 to support her. Yin used that money to buy 50,000 saplings and plant them in the sand. Today, the desert has turned into a forest. When they met again, Ronald said: "We do not communicate through language. We communicate through the heart."
