Best of the bots: A recap of the second World Humanoid Robot Games

The second World Humanoid Robot Games officially came to a close on August 26 at the National Speed Skating Oval, also known as the "Ice Ribbon," in Beijing. A total of 666 teams and 2,056 humanoid robots competed in 51 events across 1,301 matches.

On the court, robots continuously pushed the limits of athletic performance, with multiple results surpassing human world records, while several new events made their debut. In addition, scenario-based competitions covered real-world settings such as industry, households, hotels and emergency rescue.
