China showcases world's first robotic hand with full-hand tactile sensing

A research team from the Beijing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence under Peking University and other institutions has developed the world's first biomimetic robotic hand to combine high-resolution tactile sensing across the entire hand with full dexterity. The system features extensive high-resolution tactile coverage across its palm, enabling human-like adaptive grasping and improving stability when handling objects in uncertain environments.
